The Community Boys Drum Band is a collaborative effort of community agencies to engage and connect young boys to a positive and challenging endeavor.  Choice of the band was made because of the many behavioral aspects that can be impacted.  Primary behavioral outcomes are:

 

 

-increased efforts as it relates to teamwork and brotherhood (prevents conflict and violence);

 

-increased self-disciplined

 

-increased leadership skills and roles

 

-increased self

 

-motivation regarding practice and study

 

-increased self-confidence and self-esteem
